Diwali is the perfect time to pamper oneself with new clothes, dazzling jewellery, and rejuvenating beauty therapies. As we adjust to the new hybrid work culture, music, dance, theme decorations, floral arcanas’ were indeed a comforting accompanist.
We affirm that the active application of love and kindness is not just a ‘nice’ emotion that we can generate while sitting on our cushions – it is a practical application of how we can interface with the world around us and not trappy fixed views.
The news of Konstant’s upcoming Diwali celebration elicited a host of tongue-in-cheek jokes and memes. Although it wasn’t for the first time that we were having a grand celebration, it seemed like one after a long time. Volunteers from respective teams selected slips for ‘Bay Decoration’ who then sneak-peeked some time off and on from work to collect, participate and plan for activities.
All the teams – Digital Marketing, Design, Hybrid, PHP, Mobile, and Business Development – Pre Sales, Business Analysis – Post Sale teams were allotted themes for bay decoration. They had 2-2.5 hours to dress up and decorate their respective workspaces. Two team members had to dress up accordingly and explain their themes to the judges and visitors from other teams. Themes were: Jungle, 90’s Retro, Village, Circus Galore, Ramayana, Bollywood and Halloween.
The festival of lights – Diwali unites everyone together to participate in happiness. To (1) cleanse, (2) recharge, and (3) connect with their inner selves, teams turned up for Flash mob (a rhythmic song and dance sequence in the group). The glow appears when you stop waiting to turn into some perfect version of yourself and consciously enjoy being who you are in the present.
When we strive to do what we think we cannot do, the impossible becomes possible. We had some very gifted participants showcasing their skills effortlessly in Konstant Got Talent (KGT), we had prominent participants in ‘Konstant Got Talent (KGT)’ for Music, Mimicry, Dance and Singing.
When you get a chance, cease it. Seek the opportunity to make a difference. Earlier in time, our teams bunched up in small groups to glow up for team selfies.
Every seed has the potential for an incredible harvest, and we are all human in expression – we had an exhibit of our annual short funny videos.
The best things in life often wait at the exit ramp of your comfort zone. Justifying their clothes with dialogue, we had our aspiring contestants for a ramp walk.
To-the-full, burbling judges captivated the show with the prize distribution and annual gifts for Konstant’s senior members.
Every one of us ramped a side of us up for performance. We are right on the brink of ramping up from the local level.
