Hosting a get-together on a working day can be an arduous task, but little things like these fancy activities, with a dash of high-intensity music to set the weekend vibes, makes the job a little lot easier.
We are always excited to kick off winning first weekends. Konstant Infosolutions acknowledges its team members for all the hard work, dedication, and achievements they contribute to the company’s success. We are always thrilled to celebrate in person with snacks on the patio.
Can we overcome our incredulity and negativity to achieve our goals? Yes, we can…by having regular hours for work and play; by making each day both useful and pleasant, and by proving that we understand the worth of time by employing it well. Then younger years will be delightful, old age will bring few regrets, and life will become a beautiful success.
All the team members, across verticals and departments, gathered in the Cafeteria that evening for close comfort on convivial seats, joining in camaraderie and gossip since their companions were now beyond hard-of-hearing distance. Amidst juvenile laughter, we played, ate and had lots of fun.
That evening had nearly tipped us over the edge, at a time when the summers are picking up, we are trying to expand our teams, and manage our workload. So the activities started with two people having an idea and voicing it at the same time and then taking that idea and running with it.
There were two players at each end, one had to throw a ball (one at a time), and another player had to catch it from their paper cup. They had to repeat the process which goes on endlessly until they flout. The team with maximum tries without dropping the ball won the game.
5 players created a relay race. They had to hold a drinking straw each, with their mouth pouted. At the blow of the whistle, they had to place it into an empty bottle placed at a distance. They had to rush back, pick another straw and repeat the process. The player with the maximum number of straws in the bottle won the game.
Players had to dance as the music played. As the music stopped, they had to freeze on one leg. If the player does not freeze immediately or tries balancing with both legs, they had to opt-out of the game. Also, invigilators were on the lookout for scoffers and best performers.
Then we had the monthly Lucky Wheel Spin to draw out two lucky winners:
We’d love to get the download on that on-the-go-first-weekend-evening party set up. Hope you all had a fab weekend, let’s smash the week ahead!
